What are Clip-In bangs?
Have you ever gotten bangs cut only to wish you could undo them? With Luxy Hair clip-in bangs, you can now press CTRL-Z in real life. Clip-in bangs are versatile enough to create full blunt bangs, curtain bangs, or edgy/choppy bangs. Once your bangs are cut and styled to your desired look, it takes seconds to clip them in and blend!
Why should you get clip-in bangs?
It goes without saying that almost every girl out there has gone through a bangs phase. And almost every girl out there has regretted that bangs phase sorely. Not unlike giving birth, most women tend to forget just how painful the bangs process is. Let us refresh your memory:
1. Bangs tend to grow out faster than you expect…
…leading to trips to the salon every few weeks for a bangs trim. Those easy, bohemian bangs may look like they’re effortless, but in reality, need constant care and attention to keep them looking that way.
2. Bangs need to be styled every day…
…especially after tossing and turning all night. That’s just the reality of having bangs.
3. Bangs turn into an oil slick by the end of the day…
…and dealing with them at the gym is a complete nightmare!
4. That awkward phase after banging…need we say more?
Just like the morning after, the phase after cutting your bangs can lead to all sorts of inelegance as your hair slowly inches toward its original length.
5. And the worst bangs faux-pas…
Your hairstylist cutting your bangs too short! Where is the ‘undo’ button?!
Basically, bangs are a commitment no girl should have to deal with. Have commitment issues? No problem! Clip-In Bangs are a low maintenance alternative to satisfy your craving to get bangs without the mess that comes with it. Unlike real bangs, you’ll only need to have them cut once, with no upkeep required. They will hold the same style from when you last wore them and take only seconds to apply so you can look bangin’ in no time.
How to wear clip-in bangs
TIP: Have your hairstylist wash and blow-dry your clip-in bangs before they’re cut so they are softer and easier to style.
Step 1: Trim your clip-in bangs
Luxy Hair Clip-In Bangs are designed to be trimmed to your face shape and desired style before wearing. We recommend making a quick appointment with your hairstylist to ensure a perfect cut—be sure to have them trim your bangs clipped in for the most natural result.
Step 2: Prep for application
Gently brush through your clip-in bangs using a Loop Hair Extensions Brush, or a wide-toothed comb or paddle brush. Part your hair down the middle and pin each side flat behind your ears.
Step 3: Secure your clip-in bangs
Slide the 2 larger clips into your front hairline and secure them in place on either side. Pull back the hair at the center of your middle part under the “v” section of your clip-in bangs. Then, fasten the 2 smaller clips at the center of your head.
Step 4: Blend your bangs
Brush the hair you pulled back previously over the “v” section of your Clip-In Bangs for a seamless blend. Shake your head to confirm it feels secure.
Step 5: Style for bangin’ results
Go all the way! Style with your full head set of Luxy Hair extensions for extra length and volume. Whether you opt for a sleek, straight look or tousled waves, bangs look bangin’ with any ‘do.

How to use clip-in bangs
Before rocking your new bangs, you will need to have them trimmed to your face shape and desired style. After this one-time cut, however, you can clip in and remove your bangs at home, changing up your look within seconds.
Can I cut my own bangs?
Ladies, have you learned nothing from cutting your own bangs at 2 A.M.? No! Cutting beautiful bangs requires a special technique that can be achieved by a hair professional much better than a first-timer. Please have a trusted professional hairstylist cut your bangs so they suit your face shape perfectly. Before they cut your bangs, be sure to have them wash and blow-dry your clip-in bangs so that they are softer and easier to style.
Can I wash and style clip-in bangs like my own hair?
Luxy Hair Clip-In Bangs are made with 100% Remy human hair, just like the rest of our hair extensions. This means, your clip-in bangs can be washed, blow-dried and styled using heat tools, just like your own natural hair. Once they are styled once, however, you will not need to consistently re-style them unless they get wet.
Quality hair also requires quality hair care. We recommend using sulfate and alcohol-free products made especially for dry and damaged hair to keep your bangs looking their best. We also recommend to always use a heat protectant spray prior to styling and to set your heat tools to a low heat setting of 120C/250F. Anything higher runs the risk of damaging the hair.
How to hide clip-in bangs
Luxy Hair Clip-In Bangs are made with 100% Remy human hair and are hand-sewn and tied to a breathable lace mesh that resembles your scalp, making them discreet and completely natural-looking. They blend seamlessly into your hairline with longer pieces on each side to allow for additional versatility and blend-ability into your natural hair (depending on your desired look). Be sure to have your hairstylist trim these longer face-framing pieces to blend into your natural hair.
What hairstyle do I need to wear clip in bangs?
The Luxy Hair Clip-in Bangs are designed for the most natural-looking blend for most hair types and hairstyles. Due to its construction, a small section of hair is needed to be brushed over the top ‘V’ portion of the bangs to ensure a seamless blend. Due to this, clip-in bangs work with almost every hairstyle! If you are wearing a high ponytail or bun, however, be sure to tuck the small “V” under the ponytail or bun.
