Simply put: Kristen Stewart‘s wet-look ponytail took our breath away. The actor wore the on-trend style at the 2022 Film Independent Spirit Awards, which were held on March 6 in Santa Monica, California. And even though K. Stew provides major beauty inspiration on every carpet she walks, we believe this to be one of her most sophisticated looks yet.  

Hairstylist Adir Abergel — who has also worked his styling prowess on actors including Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Garner, and Charlize Theron — was behind Stewart’s awards show look. He shared a few photos of the actor’s red-carpet-ready hair ahead of the show. While we don’t have exact details on how Abergel managed to pull off the soaked look on Stewart’s hair, if we had to guess, the style probably involved quite a bit of hairspray and hair gel. The former is key for holding voluminous looks like this in place, while stylists often use the latter to create the illusion of a drenched head.
