If there’s one place that can suck us in with its aisles of drugstore beauty goodies, it’s Walmart. Yes, the retailer has loads of affordable brands like Uoma by Sharon C and Betsey Johnson-backed Luv Betsey, but sometimes we wish we could treat ourselves to something a little more luxurious at the discount department store. Well, if you’ve ever felt a similar feeling, you’re in luck because soon you’ll be able to shop Space NK at Walmart.
The two shops will band together to create BeautySpaceNK, which will fuse offerings from the luxury British beauty retailer and Walmart to create a special hub. This new space, which launches online at walmart.com/beautyspacenk on March 15 and in stores this summer, will focus on providing both affordable and luxury picks across skin-care, makeup, hair-care, and bath/body — so you’ll have access to a one-stop-shop to grab all of your favorite products. “We are thrilled to welcome Space NK to Walmart as the latest move in bringing our customers exciting new additions online and in the beauty aisle,” says Laurie Tessier, Walmart’s merchandising director of prestige beauty, in a press release.
Through this partnership, Space NK will bring over 600 products across 15 brands, including Slip’s beloved silk pillowcases and luxury beauty darling By Terry, to the mass retailer’s U.S.-based market. You can also expect to find Best of Beauty-winning products from brands like Foreo, Mario Badescu, and Patchology popping up in Walmart’s virtual aisles during the initial rollout.
By this summer shoppers will also be treated to new and exclusive products, kits, and even brand debuts, including an exciting, mineral-based SPF range called Summer Camp — founded by the makers of the luxury sun-protection brand Soleil Toujours. “We are delighted to partner with Walmart to bring prestige beauty to customers across the United States, delivered through our unique model that makes it easy to connect brands with shoppers,” Andy Lightfoot, chief executive officer at Space NK, says in the press statement.
The collaboration project between Space NK and Walmart will be available to peruse at walmart.com/beautyspacenk starting March 15, but you’ll still have to wait a couple more months until you can shop all of the products in stores.
