Finally, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker gave Americans our very own version of the royal wedding. On Sunday, May 22 (which just so happened to be World Goth Day), the eldest Kardashian sister walked down the aisle in front of an intimate gathering of family and friends while marrying Barker. They were surrounded by thousands of red roses and candlelight on the cliffs of Portofino, Italy. The duo kept to their gothic theme, and one of my favorite looks had to be the one Kardashian to Instagram the day before the ceremony — not your typical bride-to-be bridal attire. 

Before anyone had even figured out there was a second ceremony afoot, Kardashian teased a black outfit similar to the wedding dress she’d don the next day. In a series of photos from her feed on May 21, she was seen wearing a corseted black mini-dress and smoky eye makeup, filtered by a translucent, chin-length black veil with royal blue lace trimming. Judging by this look — with her hair tied back in a slick, middle part bun topped with a small silver tiara and satin gloves — I have to admire each detail that was put into every inch of her beauty look during the wedding weekend abroad.
