New beauty trend alert: woman-in-business Kim Kardashian got her eyebrows bleached while the rest of us were working. 

That’s right. The latest trend Kim Kardashian is trying to manifest is the bleached eyebrow. The trend started (roughly) with Queen Elizabeth I, who loved to hide her brows, then popped up again in the 1990s. Over the past year, bleached brows have slowly but confidently crept into the mainstream, with celebs including Madonna and, very recently, Julia Fox reaching for the face bleach. 

For a photo shoot modeling the latest lingerie collection for her brand Skims, Kim bleached her brows to complement the bleached hair she debuted at last month’s Met Gala.  We’re not sure how we feel about bleached brows at the moment. Maybe they’re an acquired taste?

The collection, Skims Romance, is “sexy, effortless, and made for love,” per the brand. The collection, which includes pieces with feminine details like ruffles in light colors and soft fabrics, drops Monday, June 13, at 12 p.m. ET.
