For application, the brand’s website states there are many ways you can use the gel. You can wear it alone, under your base as a primer, mixed with foundation, or over any look for a super glowy finish. As mentioned, this formula is water-based, so it’s very lightweight, which is great because no matter how you wear it, it’s going to feel like nothing is there. 

I decided to give it a go mixed in with my foundation. I added two pumps of the Glowy Super Gel to one pump of my Nars Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation and mixed them together on the back of my hand. I noticed that while my foundation already had a slight glow to it, it was now more luminous and iridescent. 

I dipped my foundation brush into the mixture and began buffing it into my skin. Prior to applying, I was worried that the Saie Glowy Super Gel would minimize the coverage of my foundation, but thankfully, the two products meshed well together and my foundation retained its full coverage. Once applied evenly, I finished off my complexion routine with bronzer, blush, and a little concealer so I could reveal my final thoughts. 

My skin has never looked or felt better. This product gave me a lit-from-within glow and my base makeup looked less cakey and more like my actual skin, just healthier. I looked glowy, not shiny or oily and my skin felt super hydrated and looked plump — shoutout to the squalane and glycerin in the formula.
