Sydney Sweeney made her way to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in London, England to attend the 25th annual GQ Men of the Year Awards on Wednesday, November 17.  And, judging by the amount of metal she was wearing, it’s a safe guess that she must have checked her bags instead of using a carry-on.

Six days after the two-time Emmy-award nominated actor covered the November issue of British GQ, Sweeney arrived on the red carpet in a custom LaQuan Smith architectural black gown accented at the bodice with a metal breastplate. The look was polar opposite to the ballerina glam she opted for at the LACMA Art + Film Gala earlier this month.

This time, the British GQ honoree brought a fierce persona to the red carpet (at first glance, I thought to myself, “Ladies and Gentlemen, Her!”), using her beauty look to complement the metallic accessory. Makeup artist Melissa Hernandez kept Sweeney’s skin fresh and focused on finessing the eyelids: A flick of reflective silver was stacked atop a thick and sharp black eyeliner wing.
